The Color Wheel was born from a shared dream between a mother and daughter, both credentialed art teachers with a passion for creativity, community, and connection. After years of teaching in the classroom, we wanted to create a space where anyone—kids, adults, families, and friends—could come together and experience the joy of making art, without fear or pressure.

We envisioned a studio where people could unplug, sit down at a table, and just paint. A place filled with color, laughter, and the kind of creativity that brings people closer. A place where birthdays are celebrated with paintbrushes, field trips feel like magic, and ordinary days turn into something extraordinary.

That dream became The Color Wheel—a pottery painting studio in the heart of Galt, CA, where the kiln is always warm, the paints are always flowing, and every visitor is an artist.
